Today was a forgetful day.  I woke up at 4am and couldn't go back to sleep, so at 430am I turned on the tv.  I watched an episode of Call the Midwife on Netflix.  Then at 530, hubby woke up covered in sweat saying he was really hot, so we opened both windows and turned on the side fan, the overhead fan was already on.  I watched an episode of Lie to Me on Netflix and then went back to sleep.  My alarm went off at 813am and I got up and took a shower, getting ready for therapy.  Hubby was up too.
So I kissed hubby goodbye and drove to therapy.  I parked and walked in, meeting Steve in his waiting room.  "Trouble!  What are you doing here?  We don't have an appointment this morning.  I have a dentist appointment, remember?"  "Oh yeah!  I forgot!  See you next week." I left and went back home.  Hubby was surprised to see me and we both had a good laugh.
Hubby left for work and on the way dropped me off at Judithmary's.  Come to find out it was a get together.  We got to see Debbie, an old member that has been dealing with cancer.  Terri came over and brought some clothes for us to look at.  I bought 3 tops with my last $6.  Judithmary had some clothes she was giving me and Lisa, she didn't charge us anything.  There was a mink stole that I tried on and it fit me really well, so I promised Judithmary I would pay her $30 in July.  I still have to tell hubby about it.  To keep it safe from the animals, I hung it in his closet.  The dogs aren't allowed in the guest room where hubby's closet is.  And the doors on the closet stay shut.
Terri gave me a ride home and I ate lunch.  I decided to not bring the rats out for their free range time until later, when they would be more awake.  That meant I was going to be putting their cage cleaning off until after 5, too.  So I worked on my prayer shawl, and I finished it!  I even wove the ends in and cut off the extra.  Now tomorrow I have to de-hair it and then wash it.  I'm going to dry it outside on my clothes line.  Then I will de-hair it again, then wrap it in plastic so it will stay clean.  Then next week I will turn it in at my Prayer Shawl meeting.
I got Dylan and Zeke out, my little rattie boys, and brought them into the bathroom for free range time.  This time I didn't take them out of the travel cage, just left it open.  I sat with them for awhile, reaching in to pet them occasionally.  They did venture out, but not very far.  They were more awake, and much more interactive.  They both came up to me multiple times and checked me out.  I left them to clean their cage.  This time I only used newspaper in the base, cleaned the poop off of the third story and moved the food to the second store so they would poop in the first story.  Tomorrow I will cut up another towel so they have two sets.  Tonight I gave them apple, carrot and cucumber.  When I checked on them later, they had eaten all the fresh food and all their kibble, except for the alfalfa tablet, even though they were tiny.  They really seem to like the new food set up.  I also found the perfect glass dish to put the fresh food in.  Since they ate all their food for the first time, I know that feeding them on the same floor as where they were pooping was a bad thing.  I'm learning!
Hubby worked in Denver again today, so he didn't get home until 10pm.  Tomorrow he works in Colorado Springs but I don't have anyplace to go so I don't need the car.  Maybe I will go visit my parents and see all the hard work they are putting into their yard right now.  Or I can stay home and start working on my craft room, it really needs it.  I can set up the computer down on my craft table to watch shows while I clean off my shelves.  That's a good goal for tomorrow.  I also need to cook a chicken so we can bone it for the Hearty Chicken Casserole.  I have plenty of leftovers for lunch.
