Today was a languid day. Hubby woke up, sort of, when the alarm went off. He turned off the alarm and laid there, so I thought he was going back to sleep. I had been up, reading the book The Martian, about a guy who was an astronaut on a mission to Mars. He was with a team. Something happened, the team had to leave and he gets left behind. The story is how he sets about to survive until the next mission to Mars is scheduled.
The reason we had the alarm set is hubby said he would go walking with me and the dogs this morning before he went to work, so we wanted to get up early enough that it would be cool enough and he would have time to go float all our payday loans after. Then he would head to work. I told him we have $700 worth of bills to pay this pay period so didn't think we had the money to pay any on the loans. We seriously have to figure where to get the money to start paying them off.
We did get up and do the walk. Today was pleasant and the walk went smoothly. No tangling in the leashes and the dogs were happy to get out.
I was on the computer for a while after he left, playing on facebook and writing to my cousin. I clicked on an article on a facebook post and then got a message to call Microsoft on this tollfree number. IF I did anything and tried to power off, I was in danger of losing my operating system. So I left the computer alone and left it for hubby to figure out what happened.
I took The Martian book and went outside and sat on the swing to read. That's where I stayed until just before hubby got home about 630pm. I had pulled out pork chops for hubby to cook for him and Frank. I was going to eat some ramen.
When hubby got home, he made some iced coffee and then we were out of milk, so I gathered up my money and we headed to King Soopers. We needed milk, luncheon meat, cheese, brown sugar and white sugar.
What we ended up getting was salami, honey ham, cheddar cheese, swiss cheese, a fried chicken dinner with coleslaw, mashed potatoes and gravy, and mac n cheese, milk, yogurt, crackers, and various snack cheeses. $100.
We got home and Frank unloaded the car. We fed all the beasties and then sat down to dinner ourselves. Dishes got done, dishwasher started and then hubby went down to his office for a little while. Now we are going upstairs to watch a movie.
Tomorrow hubby says he is not going to church, he is staying home, flat on his back. His back has been spasming a lot lately. We have an appointment with the doctor to hear the results of the MRI on Tuesday. I had to cancel my therapy to go. I'm going to do laundry so he can relax.
