Today was a Project Runway Day! When I finished watching Project Catwalk, the UK's version of Project Runway, hubby went on YouTube and found so many more countries that had episodes on there. The only problem, the countries, like Vietnam, aren't in English and don't have subtitles. But never fear, we found Project Runway Australia! And it looks like they have 4 seasons, at least. I started watching yesterday.
I woke up today around 1030am, and pet the animals for awhile while watching The Price is Right. Then my favorite old show was on, Quincy. I got a couple of cherry cinnamon rolls for breakfast along with a cola. I fed the beasties and then settled in back upstairs to watch tv. I was putting off getting dressed as I wasn't in a rush today to do anything.
Hubby surprised me by coming home. He is working 12 hour days today and tomorrow since it is the start of the semester, hence they call it Start. There is a rush of students buying books and going to classes, paying bills and so on, so the bookstore and production are super busy from open to close. And since hubby is the manager, he has to be onsite to take care of any problems right away and give great customer service.
So when hubby came home, it surprised and delighted me. He came to get a break, eat, take a shower and then run. But I had other things in mind. I asked him if he had time to put his food in the microwave and come upstairs for a few minutes. Upstairs, upstairs? He asked. I said yes, upstairs to the bedroom. Frank was working and we hadn't been friendly in a long time, awkward as it was trying to get frisky while Frank is in the next room sleeping. So we did.
After showers and dressing, hubby ate some food really quick then set up his iPad to play Project Runway Australia for me for as long as I wanted. Then he kissed me goodbye and left. I settled in to watch. Frank came home and we talked about his day a little bit, then I went back upstairs to watch more. Later I came down and made grilled cheese and ham sandwiches for him and soup for both of us. He had chicken noodle and I had cream of chicken.
Hubby is working late so Frank cleaned the litter boxes and took out the trash. He set the cans on the curb for the trash pick up the next day. I got the bread buttered for hubby's sandwich for when he comes home. I imagine it will be an early night for him as he has to do it all again tomorrow.
