Today was a sleeping day.  I made it up at 730am and went next door, still half asleep.  I fed the squirrels and birds, fed and watered the dogs, then came home and went back to sleep.  I forgot to open the curtains.  Oh well, tomorrow I will be better.  Tomorrow I will not be able to go back to sleep, I have to drop hubby off at work and drive to the Zoo.  I have storytelling workshop to attend to better learn how to take facts and make them more interesting by turning them into a story for the public.
We had an assignment to send 3 statements into the guy conducting the workshop by a certain date and I got the email but put it off until it was too late.  So I got a notebook and wrote down 3 statements with notes to take to the workshop to develop into a story.  Most of them are stories that I took from the website or the newsletter but they are just what I could think of today.  We will see.  I have to remember to take a lunch with me.
I will have to walk up a big hill to get to the workshop so I am going to park in the lot and walk in the front.  Then I have to walk up to Moose Lodge.  But I am not going to park on the volunteer hill parking lot because it will take me forever to walk up there when the workshop is done.  We aren't supposed to do this but it is still spring and a weekday so we shouldn't be really busy.
When I came back and went back to bed, I slept until hubby called and woke me up at 1240pm.  He called to brag that he finally had gone through with the threat to mail poop to somebody.  Seriously, he had to mail in a fecal sample to the lab from the doctor's visit about his bleeding out of his rectum.  It's not something he likes to talk about and the joking just makes this easier to deal with.  Until he gets the colonoscopy, we still have the colon cancer scare over our heads.  People, pay attention to your bowels!  Know about what your feces and urine look like and pay attention to changes.
I spent the rest of the day until it was time to go back next door watching tv and eating lunch with hubby.
The good news is when I went back to the neighbor's dogs, it was raining.  Raining is good cause we need the moisture, but bad cause then I couldn't walk the dogs.  And I did get dressed and put on my sneakers, looking forward to walking today.  But the dogs were friendlier and more relaxed tonight.  They hung out in the same room as me, I got both dogs to eat in the kitchen, and in the later part of the evening, they both got on the couch and fell asleep.  They were so relaxed, when hubby called and said he was on the way home, I told him I was staying with the dogs a little longer to bond some more.  It was nice.  They let me give them good scratches as I was leaving.  The owner called while I was over there so I took some pics of the dogs on the couch and texted them to her.   I didn't get a message back.  Maybe she didn't get it.
